American Airlines is expanding out of MIA again. Nothing major. All effective for the busy summer period between 14 June 2003 and 3 September 2003:

-Three additional flights a week to Cancun (TOTAL: 28)
-Three additional flights a week to Curaco (TOTAL: 10)
-Two additional flights a week to Rio de Janeiro (TOTAL: 12)
-Four additional flights a week to San Pedro Sula (TOTAL: 11)
-Two additional flights a week to San Salvador (TOTAL: 12)

In additional, on the same date, American Airlines will launch a third daily service between Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood and Los Angeles, California year-round for a total of eight daily non-stop flights between South Florida and Southern California.
