Can anyone confirm if N165UA was one of the UA 747's that were sold to TG? It's flying around Thailand at the moment sending out flight UA220 on its ACARS unit.....

Interesting they's use UAL220 during this flight. UAL220 is a scheduled flight between LAS and SFO.

N165UA is a 747-200 and not a 744 as sold to Thai Air. It is most probably HS-UTC, flying around with Orient Thai.

Thanks Cx_flyboy

Someone should teach them how to change the settings on their ACARS unit!

If I was flying on that carrier, the ACARS unit would be the last thing on my mind!!
