I was just on flightarrivals.com and saw that Air Canada flight 7047 from Ottawa was a 737-200. First of all, is this some sort of a medical of mechanical diversion cause AC only flies regional to DTW and only from Toronto I thought. Can anyone help me??

might be an ACJetz sport charter... are the Sens playing the Redwings tonight or tommorow?

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Ottawa is playing Detroit tomorrow, so that's probably what it is.

Isn't that flight number a charter flight number anyway?

If you go to DTW, you will probably see it parked over by the Executive terminal on the Northeast side of the airport. That's where I have seen all hockey charters park- seen the Rangers plane there, Vancouvers and a couple of others.
