Air India and Indian Airlines once again just like the Gulf War is getting ready to airlift thousands of Indians from the gulf region especially Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Many of the Indians there are labor workers.

Do BA and Virgin do this for British passengers? I don't think so.
Then why on earth does the Indian government create such a ruckus. It was understandable the last time when they airlifted Indians out of Kuwait and Iraq (two countries at war). But here they are creating a pandemonium by attempting to airlift Indians out of Saudi Arabia, etc etc.

I'm sorry, but I think that if Indian workers in neighboring countries are so fearful of their lives, they should march to the nearest airline counter and BUY themselves a one-way ticket home. Take responsibility for their own decision to leave Trivandrum and work in the Gulf oilfields. The Indian government has no business giving them free passage, especially when this war in all likelihood is not going to affect them.

I think there are way more British than Indians in the Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I think I have heard Indians are Kuwait and Saudi Arabia's largest minority race.

According to the BBC, there are 30,000 Britons in Kuwait.
Yet, BA cancels its flights to and from Kuwait, but AI goes into a panic.

AI used 744's and A310's. They flights have arrived in India from Kuwait.

The Times of India report is inaccurate. AI used 747-200s on this morning's flights and not 747-400s.
