Maybe of intrest for BRU spotters. Due to fog in MAS a NWA DC-10 diverted to BRU.

Thanks very much for the info LJ. How bad is the fog in Amsterdam because here in Brussels it's blue sky with a bit of haze?

Also do you know of any other diversions? Some KLM aircraft perhaps?

A Syrian A320 should have diverted to BRU aswell. No other diversions as far as I know.

The fog is becoming less at AMS. However this morning visibility was less than 100m (according to Teletekst reported visibility as low as 10m at 8AM). Rotterdam was

The Syrian A320 is a regular visitor here in Brussels. The service is from Syria to Brussels with continuing service to Amsterdam.

Hi guys,

This morning, only 30 minutes or so after a guy who works at AMS told me by phone how foggy it was over there, I saw the NW DC-10 depart from 25R. Really amazing. Too bad I didn't have the day off and went to Diegem. Maybe next time?

Anyway, seems like AMS tends to get foggy quite often nowadays. Is this due to specific atmospheric conditions of these past few weeks? But hey, you don't hear me complaining Big grin
