Does any know or hear of any plans for another U.S airliner to start flying to Australia, and give QF,UA and NZ some more competition across the pacific. lt would be really good to see CO back flying into MEL again, and l like to think AA will make an effort to start a service one of these days.

I think American might in the 777 or 767-400ER. I hope some one else does. Hey I could do it in a cessna 152 only a couple days of flying. There is also a Catilina that bounces there which sounds like alot of fun!

I was looking at airfare to AU and almost
all the american airlines have alliances with
other carriers that fly there. Example AA
alliance with Qantas. I would like to see US
airlines fly to AU but I don't think it will happen.
I know UAL does fly a B747 out of LAX to SYD
and out of SFO.
