Air Scotland has announced plans to operate 1xweekly 757-200 scheduled services from Aberdeen in Scotland to Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.

seems an unusual step forward for ABz but a welcome one  Smile

Are they going to operate the flight now? They announced months ago that they intended to fly from ABZ, but about a week later they announced they had cancelled plans to fly from ABZ due to low demand.

So are they or are they not?

That'll teach you

Nighthawk

I believe they only announced that they were disappointed with demand and that they may cancel the flights

Would appear things have got better since they still seem to plan to operate it (there's a pop-up on their website advertising it...)

Regards

(PS As flights are du to start this Saturday, does anyone know if Electra have got the 757 yet and is it painted up in Air Scotland colours?)

I don't like signatures...

They have got the aircraft and they were already seen operating several single charters, in all white colors however.

They've got a 752 correct?

Any plans for transatlantic charters this summer to Canada or the US?

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

They've actually got two ex-LTU B757-200s.
