According to justplanes.com PK are starting a new weekly service from Lahore to Dubai, well they're wrong because PIA have always flown on the route using an A300/310 and perhaps a 747 too. The new service is from Quetta capital of Balochistan province bordering Iran and Afghaistan, the weekly service will use a 737, all of Pakistans provincial capitals are now linked with Dubai.

aren’t they already flying 5 flights/ week from Lahore to Dubai.
Airmale, can you tell me how many other cities are already connected to Dubai and from how many cities the traffic is more than 3 times/week.

I dont know about frequency but Karachi, Lahore Islamabad and Peshawar are linked with Dubai, by PIA, Aero Asia, Shaheen and Emirates. Multan and Faisalabad were too in the past by PIA only aqnd they may be again, there is also demand for Sukkur in Sindh province and Bannu as well as Dera Ismail Khan in the NWFP to be connected with Dubai too.

Karachi and Dubai are infact linked by more then just PIA,Emirates,Aero Asia and Shaheen airlines.
Other airlines include.. Swiss Airlines (A332..now soon to be A343) , Royal Jordanian (A310),Ethiopian Airlines(B763), Egyptair (A300) but im not 100% sure, Malaysian Airlines(A333). In the past this route was also flown by KLM (MD11, B743),Lufthansa (A300,A310),Aeroflot (A310),Singapore Airlines (B743) and some others that dont come to mind right now...maybe you can fill the missing ones Airmale..
