UPS Embraces New Logo, Colors

http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/030325/transport_ups_1.html

This is interesting news. It should be interesting to see what UPS will come up with for a new livery for their aircraft. Looks like a lot of the airlines are changing their looks these days.

Their marketing phrase is "What Brown Can Do For You"....so I'll assume it's still deep brown.

I'd change the phrase...it sounds like shit (literally and figuratively...).

Too much black on the rear fuselage. If the stripe type thing didn't go so far down the fuselage it'd look excellent.

From the ground it doesn't look too bad, I guess the (computer generated??) air to air shot does not do it justice..

While searching for the new livery on Airliners.net, I came across the above UPS plane - N526UP which is described as a 747-212B. Is this ex Singapore Airlines?

New livery looks pretty nice, although current one is still pretty stylish. I think they should have kept the cheatline.

This scheme isn't half-bad, I like it much more than the new NWA livery or DHL's yellow colors, but I wonder if it will fade badly in the sun.

Congrats to KLM, JAL, and UPS for making the least obnoxious changes to their liveries. Let's see what Gulf Air comes up with!

The new colors look nice. I do like the restyled UPS logo, first update of the logo since the 1960s. All of this is part of the company's new focus. UPS is more than just a package service, they provide other services as well. In fact the UPS initals really don't stand for anything now.

I wonder what their trucks will look like

I think that scheme will look great on all of their planes except for the MD-11 for some reason

I work at FEDEX and I must say that the new UPS logo is very cool... The 767-300 was a good choice to show it off for the first time.... But it ain't cooler than ours !!!!
