There was a post not too long ago about Germanwings starting a new routes out of Berlin. I need a flight one way Berlin to London in May and supposedly TXL-STN was one of the new routes. Does anyone know when this information will be available on Germanwings website or if it is infact true??
Thanks a lot!

Air Berlin is offering TXL-STN flights from EUR 39 incl. taxes, Ryanair fares for SXF-STN start from EUR 26.25 incl. taxes.

Germanwings will start to fly from TXL on May 1st. I can also not understand why the flights are not bookable on their website but you can already see them in the timetable of the TXL page.

Just recetly they have announced that they postponed the decision of a new base. Rumours on a German aviation board has it that TXL might have been a bit too fast with announcing the slot reservations.
Possibly they have not yet decided on where their new base is.

3 low cost carriers on LON - BER = massive losses.... bye bye Air Berlin and German Wings...
