I was aboard Go 226, together with half of Go's management, and Go's CEO Ed Winter, who gave a little speech over the intercom before takeoff. Very sentimental flight for the cabin crew, it seemed, who made a lot of announcements... as did the pilots...

I'll post a trip report later...

Have easyjet said anything officially about the last Go Flight?

Was Barbara Cassani on the flight?

No, Barbara Casssani was not on the flight. Ed Winter is apparently Chief Operating Officer of Easyjet as well as having been Chief Executive Officer of Go, so I guess that makes him Easyjet's main representative. All he said was that we were taking part in a bit of aviation history, witnessing the last flight of this airline that had grown (and he quoted a number or two here) so quickly etc. He also asked people to continue flying now that it was easyjet and not Go.

Nothing too memorable, but it was nice he made the speech anyway...
