After a little hiatus, China Airlines' cargo service to MAN resumed today. B-18702 operated the service, with landing time of 18.07 and departure time of 20.40.
Days of operation the same as before.
Tomorrow sees the beginning of the (temporary) 6 weekly 777 non-stop SIN-MAN service with 9V-SVH expected to arrive around 08:00. (I hope that all services get delayed as it's normally expected in at 06.45!)

Any guesses as to why SQ have temporarily stopped the Tuesday flight to SIN? Fall in demand due to the war I guess. However, next few weeks look good at MAN, nice to see SQ's 772's, Qatar's A300 aswell as EK 773's on all next week's flights to DXB. Shame Hapag Lloyd Express is in early moring and late evening and not during the day.

Going back to SQ, I'm not sure whether 6 777s operating non-stop has the same capacity as 4 non-stop 777s + 3 747s via BRU. Perhaps someone knows what the available capacity was on the 747s for the BRU and MAN sectors?
Other bit of extremely useless info....BA have transferred a load of their services to BACitiExpress (not yet worked out the callsign/flight number tie-ups, though a general one appears to be that the RJ100s are still using "Speedbird" and everything else is "British" [includes the 146s])
