Correct me if I'm wrong, but Midwest already has it's 717's in revenue passenger service. Note, I made 717 plural. I believe they had their second bird delivered either last week or the week before.

The first 717 flight for paying passengers was to Philadelphia. N902ME has been to Philly, Tampa and Dallas so far.

Yes, I'm trying to get info on the date that the 1st rev. flight took place, routing, flt. number, pax count.

The second airplane (N903ME) did deliver last friday and the third airplane (N904ME) is now on the flight ramp.

Thanks again.

I have seen the 717 in dallas more than a few times, substituting for the regularly scheduled DC9s. There was one on the morning flight on saturday.

Has scheduled services with the 717s begun, or are they just doing substitution runs at the moment? Anyone with any info on that?

Thanks,
Josh

I've flown on 9V-SPK.

I believe it was F610 MKE-TPA 3/16/03. I will check it tomorrow. It might be too late for me to check easily, but I will found out for you. 903ME should be online 4/3.

Hey, Brian. Big grin Good to see you posting!

N902ME is currently flying MKE-TPA-MKE, MKE-PHL-MKE and MKE-DFW-MKE. N903ME will fly MKE-MCI-SAT-MCI- SAT-MCI, overnight, then do the return route. She is currently undergoing mods at the YX hangar here, and will enter revenue service late next week (April 11th).

Lgbguy,

I just did some checking and I was wrong. The first rev flight for N902ME was on 3/18 Flight 610 MKE/TPA. Hope that helps with your website.

Britt,

Thanks! 902 and 903 will not be specific to those routes, they will be interchangable. They are just 2 different 717 lines, not specifically which a/c. One of them...not sure which yet, will do its first overnight stay at an outstation in BOS this Saturday night! BOS is honored!

Jettblasterp,

Thanks for the information, it is much apprecitated.

It will be for both my website and the delivery story that I co-wrote for Airliners Magazine.

Thank you again for the info.
