Hi all,

Don't know if you already had a look at it, but here is the "Belgium Universal Airways" website: http://www.l-air.com/

According to the website...:

- LAIR expects to take delivery of the first two freshly painted jets in April 2003.

- The carrier proposes to launch new operations from its Brussels hub in April 2003

Let's hear you comments !

Regards, SN-A330

how on earth are they going to start operations with 2 a/c THIS MONTH (...)
when at this point reservations cannot be made...

...no sign of any timetables, let alone destinations...

...a 3-class configuration...

...and who are they going to cooperate with to fill all seats

anyway, i see another disaster like VG and SN coming! that is, if they'll ever fly.

regards,

What a piece of crap! Unbelievable!

The funny thing is that they are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange... Whowould buy such a stock?!

In the same time, SN Brussels Airlines seems to be oding really well. They are above their biz plan after their 1st year of ops.

That website has been there for a while. It appears to be dormant.

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

Well let's see where it gets, but I hope this time the owners went to some bizness school and are clearly aware of the aviation industry before attempting to launch such airline...

They have no AOC
They have no Crews
They have no Reservation possibilities
They have no Slots
But they do have a dream... lets wait and see, at least trying is better than doing nothing in Belgium, where the government hates aviation.

Shiek!

"The key elements of our strategy are: Stimulate demand - Emphasize Low operating Costs - Offer point-to-point Flights to Overpriced or Underserved Large Markets - Differentiate our Product and Service"

Does that mean they'll be flying into CYUL?
(only kidding, of course)  Laugh out loud

Let me laugh... This airline is only a big joke, and will (if it ever takes off) bring down a little bit more the "belgian reputation"...
