Gulf Air's new livery was revealed yesterday when His Majesty King Hamad was presented with a model of a new-look plane by president and chief executive James Hogan.
All the Gulf Air fleet will be repainted in new colours over the coming 18 months.
The new identity will be unveiled at a ceremony to be held at the airport VIP Lounge today.

While the image is fairly small, the new livery looks great and classy! Much more of a design than most other airlines...

Very nice. I think I like Gulf Air's new livery more than the other new airline liveries that have come out this past weeks.
Gulf Air looks like its going to go through a lot of changes. Just saw a report that it plans to add 60 aircraft in the best 10 years.

My father went to the launch today at Bahrain International Airport.
The livery is apparently very smart, and they have cleaned up the "Gulf Air" text on the fuselage. The Falcon is also much more prominent on the tail. The livery is just part of a total rebranding of the airline, including some apparently very swish Business Cards!!
Only one aircraft, an A330-200 is painted at present. The aircraft I believe has now flown to Abu Dhabi, for the launch there. Then it should go onto the European routes (LHR, CDG, FRA) so a prize to whom can get a pic of it first!

A4O-KE, sporting the new Gulf Air C/S came earlier this afternoon in Muscat (from Bahrain) for a quick official presentation: Outstanding beauty, I have to say!
The contrast between the gold, the white and the marine blue colors serves pretty much the lines of the A332 although some blue in the tail would have looked even nicer, in my own opinion.
Smart detail: The 3 national flags of the 3 countries owning GF are showing side by side on the aft of the fuselage (close to the rear door).
Sorry, no pic to show you as I was at work and we (ATC) didn't get any warning on this special flight. She didn't stay long enough to allow me to go home pick up my camera and negociate a special photo permit. I'm sure anyway some photogs will get her tomorrow in LHR!

That is a great livery, much better than those mostly white, straight lined ones that most airlines seem to be going to. Gulf air has always had nice liveries.

That livery looks fantastic! Much better than some other airline's new colour scheme. I didn't think their new livery would look better than their old one, but it looks great.

I think the new livery is really sharp, Emirates should have had something like this, it's by farthe best livery in the middle east. Looking forward to seeing it in real.
