Hi guys,
Don't know if this has been discussed already, but for those of us who enjoy chowing down an In & Out burger while watching the heavies roar over, a new parking lot has been constructed right next to In & Out. I thinks it's called "The Parking Spot" or something. Anyway, spotters will be able to park all the way up on the roof and get an even better view of the North runway. I was glad to see it, 'cause you know the parking at In & Out can be a mess. It opens next month.

I've been eyeing that structure from the beginning of it's construction. My only fear is that the cops will go after people who are taking photos from up there.
But it couldn't have come at a better time. The summer solstice is just around the( June 21st) corner, and the sun will be setting high in the Pacific, perfect for shots of the 24's.
As for the Double-Double animal style, I can only handle one of them these days. (getting older) But my boys have more than made up for me by eating 2 4X4 animal style at one time, now that is something to shoot for!

You say it's called the Parking Spot? Are you talking about the same parking structure as the "Parking Spot" shuttles that are yellow with black polk-a-dots? If so, then don't you have to pay quite a bit per hour in there?
I know they are building something next to In N Out, but last time I was there, it was just a MASSIVE pit. I haven't seen it in a while. Is THAT the one?
So confused!
As for In N Out, you have to get the 4x4 with onions, fries and a Lemonade. Or, if you're really in a good mood, go for the 8x8. It's not too much more expensive. I once asked an In N Out person how big their hamburgers are able to go (4x4, 8x8, etc...) and she said, "Depends on how much meat we have in the back."
My posts/replies are strictly my opinion and not that of any company, organization, or Southwest Airlines.

Sounds like we are talking about the same one, QANTAS747-438. It is just about completed now and opens next month. I think the sign is yellow with black polka dots (can anyone confirm this?).
By the way, I don't think the cops will bother us for taking pictures on the roof, because we are at a safe distance from the airport. They don't have a problem with us being on the grass eating and taking pictures. Hopefully, they won't bother us when we "park and spot".
