Hi,
Looks like with Iraq, and other world news its hitting UK bookings more than ever and the move to bring winter 2003/4 bookings out very early went down well for tour operators. With this in mind, the big three Tui UK, Thomas Cook and My Travel have all decided to launch the Summer Sun 2004 brochure tomorrow, and TUI UK also have Skytours (the ultimate family brand).
I work for Tui UK and we have found bookings hard to comeby, but they are slowly picking up again now. Speaking to a collegue for Tui Nordic looks like business is slowly pulling up but not quiet fast enough.
Tui summer 2004, tui skytours summer 2004, thomas cook summer sun 2004, and my travel (airtours) summer sun 2004 all launch tomorrow.
A date for the long haul summer 2004 launch has yet to be announced.

brochures are all in stores actually, and viewdata (the booking system accepts S04 bookings from 0730 tomorrow). Tui UK brochures are out and system launches at 0730. was taken offline tonight for update.
tui has lowest lead in price, thomas cook have "greater flexibilty" apparently and my travel think their high 2003 prices are going to get them 2004 bookings - gives the customer more time to save the silly prices i guess lol
i have 4 piles of tui greece mate lol for some obsured strange people it looks close to iraq and thats why people aint going from my area. very ill informed.

Are their any new destinations added from any of the smaller regional airports for Summer 2004 or is it a consolidation year next year for the big tour operators.

so far it's consolidation...with the only new destination from the midlands region being POP from BHX with TUI....wait until the specialist brochures come out...they'll have a sprinkling of new destinations....hopefully!
