Here's the link to an interesting article regarding the Concorde's long list of famous passengers. It's a shame this bird will soon be retired from both Air France and British Airways fleets.

Remember a few years back when washed-up singer Diana Ross tried to strom past security and onto the Concorde?

If she tried to pull that crap in today's security environment, she would likely be shot.

Maggs swings, it's a drive deep to left! The Tigers are going to the World Series!!!

In Jan 1977 I saw John Lennon and Yoko in the British Airways terminal at JFK airport. They were there to pick up John's son who flew in on the Concorde. I talked to John Lennon briefly, but should have asked for his autograph.

In 1995 my father flew on the Concorde from JFK to Wichita, Kansas. This was a repositioning flight for a charter flight originating from Wichita. He spent about 20 minutes in the cockpit in flight.

I shared my last flight with Dame Judy Dench. Let's call that my latest flight... I'm frantically working on my "last" Concorde flight in light of today's news.
