Hi everyone. I need some help identifying an airline that left YYZ this morning. The flight was scheduled to depart at 6:30 am to Cuba. I have checked the gtaa.com website, but unfortunately I can't find it. Can anyone tell me what airline this would have been? Again, the flight was scheduled to depart Toronto on April 12 at 6:30 am to Cuba.

Thanks for your help.

Hey,

It was probably and most likely Air Transat as they do their caribbean flights early in the morning from YYZ. Was it to Varadero?

Regards,

Could have been any one of 6 airlines.

Your best bet is to look at the GTAA site NEXT Saturday for 630am departures...the same flight likely leaves at the same time next week.

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

Concerning Cuba, do Cubana have regular flights to YYZ? I saw one of their IL62M's an night once at YYZ, and wanna know if this is regular. Cubana I guess is one of 6 possible airlines then.

Yes they do have regular flights to YYZ though it is with the 320 now...and on occasion the DC-10...

As Slawko said, Cubana does indeed fly here, currently with the A320. Just last year, they were using the DC-10 regularly, and we haven't seen Russian aircraft in a few years.

However a 6:30 departure would not be Cubana. As 6:20am is the earliest time an aircraft can be scheduled to push back from the gate, only overnighting aircraft will depart at that time. Cubana does not overnight at YYZ.

Wow nuno I'm impressed, but actually I think its 6:15...anyway...it was probably one of the charters...I think the ACA flights leave later in the day...

One of best websites for showing arrivals & departures is SSV's www.skyservice.com.

Some mornings they have 14 departures from YYZ before 730am! At least this past winter anyway.
