Ok, consider this...

After aquiring LX, merging with SAS and taking over AUA, The new formed LufthAUAnSASwiss wir take over Air France to become Air Lufthauansaswiss. There are even rumours they will become BAir Lufthauansaswiss after getting BA.

Eventually they will change their name or go bankrupt.
Don't know about the livery yet...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Oh, just got new infos, it seems they will be SNBAir Lufthauansaswiss...  Nuts

BTW, I'm joking....  Wink/being sarcastic

Thanks, That's really funny! I was thinking the same when I heard about the story in our wonderfull sunday paper!

And after all the mergers, they can rename the Star Alliance to "Team Lufthansa". At least, they would not have to invent a new brand then!

Mario Ritter? I don't know. But I heard they are hiring someone called "Frank Lorenzo" as a consultant for the merger. It will be his job to build up the relationships between all the new employee groups! Did anyone ever hear from him before? Obviously, he's an expert for mergers and labor negotiations in the States!!  Wink/being sarcastic

I think we should stop that here. Otherwise, some journalist will believe the story and write 'the story of his lifetime' about our merger plans!!

breaking news!

New York (Roiters):
Pepsico and The Coca Cola Company about to merge
PepsiCo, the mother of Pepsi Cola and The Coca Cola Company are about to merge, industry officials said April 13th on a press meeting in New York. Together they want to be the world monopolist soda drink seller. As they have some product similiarities, some of the product will dissappear from the market. The Coca Cola Soda Drink and Pepsi Cola Soda drink are one example.
As of May 04 the two drinks will be sold under a new name, Pepsi Coca. The Famous 'coke-bootle' will keep its around the world well known shape, but in the blue pepsi colors. The new soda will contain 51% Coca Cola and 49% Pepsi Cola.

It's remains unclear whether they will buy around 10 concordes to promote their new product, as one official said: 'we have too much money, and need something to spend it on - it could very well be a concorde, but only if we can agree with the french goverment, that it will officially only be british, and not french/britsh anymore'

While they're at it, why don't they buy every other airline in the world!

Nah, first they will buy both manufacturers, integrating both into LH Technik, subsequently ending all A vs. B war, the number of members here will immediately drop to 250 or so, then afterwards, after tripling the prices for aircraft sold to others carriers and thereby driving all airlines into bankruptcy, they can get all the other airlines for free!!

oh and btw: Don't even try to find funny names for the merged entity...the name will be ..... Deutsche Lufthansa, what else??? Ok, maybe in order to keep the divisions clear of each other, something like
DEUTSCHE LUFTHANSA - subsection "left Rhine border"

and for all those born without a sense for sarcasm, a little disclaimer:
