PK may have to return a 737-300 to the government as the new prime mimister wants a private jet for his trips at home and abroad. The aircraft bought by the govt. in 1992 was given to PIA in 2000 in an austerity drive under which president Musharraf had decided to travel by scheduled commerical flights, the 737 which is at present operating regular services for PIA is occassionally hired by the govt. for official trips I guess being unsure of its status the airline have also refrained from painting it in their full colours. The said aircraft after joining PIA had brought the number of 733's in their fleet to seven.

The named aircraft AP-BEH is said to be an aircraft, which was originally assigned for Ansett Australia. The aircraft was later taken up by the Pak Govt, for official use and was set to VIP configuration.
General Pervaz Musharaff and his cabinet flew on scheduled flights and never used special aircraft. I would like to see the new PM do the same.
