If you could return either one to its former greatness, which would you pick?

And this question (in countless variations) has been asked how many times?

Given a choice between TWA and Pan Am, I'd definitely choose:

KIWI International.

Kiwi was started by former Pan Am pilots....so in a round about way you picked Pan Am...good choice!  Smile

Pan Am all the way, not even close.

Hmmm... considering what their products were like compared to European, Asian, and eeek- even the unfriendly nature of QF & NZ staff, I'd have to say: Neither!

umm... in their prime, the products of the primary three US-based international carriers (PA, TW and NW) were among the best of any carrier in the world.

It is a toss-up both carriers were excellent on their own merits. I would however ressurect Pan Am, just the history in the airline alone is enough to bring it back from the dead.
