Don't get my topic wrong, I love the US Airways current scheme. It looks smart, elegant and business like, but I would like to see atleast one plane in atleast an experimental scheme. And I honestly can't wait to see A US Airways plane in the Star Alliance scheme.
P.S If any photoshop pro's have spare time on there hands, please do a US Airways A330 in the silver scheme. ThAnX:D

I wouldn't get my hopes up... The current state of the industry does not allow for such this as experimental livery. I know of no plans for a new paint job at U.

I wonder why US seems to be the only US major that lacks any special schemes on their aircraft...Id rather see that than a new livery...they are near to just finishing the repaints on all their 737's still in the old scheme, its way too soon for a new scheme...

Hummer, I've always wondered that as well. All airlines have had some sort of special scheme except for US Airways. When the Sixers went to the championship with the Lakers (I forgot when that was lol) I was hoping they would win so that US Airways can somehow get a special scheme. Oh well who knows maybe we'll see an A330 in the Silver scheme sometime soon.

I know the 500th ERJ was supposed to be painted in a theme using the USAirways Express paint job, but US Airways said they did not want a theme aircraft. Therefore, an America West Express ERJ operated by Chautauqua Airlines goth te 500th ERJ recognition even though it really was not the 500th ERJ produced.

Perhaps when things settle down, they could steal an idea from ITRADE over on US Aviation. Paint a couple planes in the colors of past airlines that formed the foundation of what we have today. Perhaps keeps the tail the same, and just do the fuselage. Either way...I think everyone would agree with me that it would be nice to see the Smiles of PSA back - on at least one plane.

N766UA,
Forget it with the older airlines is Piedmont and that was long time ago. It was been no longer used with ex-Piedmont Airlines before. It was many years ago and I flown on that one of Piedmont Airlines.

it's only been within the last few months that US has gotten rid of or painted the old silver USAir jets. I think they need to focus on maintaining the current paint jobs, as many are peeling and fading...

A few US Airways aircraft, notably the 737-300/400's have the old silver livery which was introduced in the early 1990's. US Airways does NOT need a new livery. The current one is fine. It looks great.
