When is the final announcement due on this. I was under the impression that all comments and complaints from airlines had to be in on the 21st April and that a final announcement was due soon afterwards?

It is my understanding you are correct.My guess is that in early to mid May the final announcement will be made.In the mean time, AA hangs on by a thread. I think that what little benefit will come the way of AA will be too little too late. I hear from good sources that advance bookings on AA are worse than pathetic.
I will forever be convinced that if AA/BA had the antitrust immunity that NW/KL and UA/LH has they could have shared expenses in many areas and the situation with AA would be infinetly less dire than it currently is.
If BA/AA wanted the same results as everyone else than they have to do what everyone else did to get the results. Not only in the airline industry but in every day life.
