I was looking for flight to CDG in September, and they are scheduled using a 744 instead of the 777 we get now... I will always prefer one of those big planes, but saddly, this means we would loose the only 777 arriving to MEX

AM will probably get some soon, as has been thrown around for a bit about the GE90-92B powered AF ones.

Who knows about MX... they seem to be very happy with other people feeding them.

By the way, since LH is now 10x (744) weekly, is IB's (A343) 10x weekly year round as well? They used to do (743/A343) 10x weekly only for the summer. From what I understand, at one point in the future, they want to turn the route into double daily service.

And I just found out that AF services CDG-MEX only 6x. So does AM... So there is not even one daily flight with AF or AM,... of course, combined we have 12x.
Ghost//: Enjoy Italia and your aunt!!!! I am going to LTO in a week time!

Hi everyone,

Like Pzurita said, it is a shame to lose the only 777 service to MEX, at least for a while. . . .

BTW, has anyone heard about the new USAirways service CLT-MEX nonstop? It is supposed to start in October (according to justplanes.com). It struck me as strange no one has mentioned in this forum. . .or has anyone? I could not find any post. And why CLT? Why not PHL? It would make more sense t ome. Can someone explain

CLT has much greater feed, and North Carolina has a larger Mexican population than Pennsylvania in the first place. PHL-MEX starts Feb04.

Pzurita:

I know Air France is doing good on the MEX-CDG-MEX flight and in their press release for the summer 2003 (worldwide schedule) they confirm they will keep the 14 flights x week:

Go to the following link and on the right side of the page, below "Actualidades" click the words: "Programa del Verano 2003" then go to Latinamerica

Enjoy your trip to Loreto!! And try to get some pictures of the airport...

Rojo:

I just got the AM current timetable. They only list 6x flights to CDG and 6x codeshared with AF... According to the info on AF web site, I guess they will resume their daily flights in summer.

I will try to have some pics of LTO
