A new site has been been chosen for the Capital's International Airport just outside the city at Tarnol, 3000 acres have been purchased for the purpose. ISB's present airport is actually a Pakistan Air Force base, and serves Ariana Afghan, Emirates, Saudi Arabian, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways, China Xinjiang and British Airways.
