Today's Süddeutsche Zeitung writes about the rise and fall of Rafik Khalifa (38). His empire that once included a pharmaceutical company, bank, construction companies, a TV station, car rental and of course the airline has fallen apart again. He is staying in London to avoid prosecution in France and Algeria and the soccer club Olympique Marseille is removing his logo.
What is unclear is what exactly triggered the fall, and what made him rise in the first place, politics, connections, corruption...

After reading this, it seems unlikely Khalifa will ever fly again...

Konstantin

Not much about the airline, but anyway quite interesting.
