Slawko -- ..hope they start the bridge soon...
No foolin' (they need that thing...)
Good 'wind-in-their-sails' news indeed for the Q400 program though. And the Bombardier Downsview workers, their families, and so on. I haven't heard a lot of public gripes about the plane lately so I gather most everyone operating it these days is generarlly satisfied, even if some of them like SAS particularly sure had to go through a lot before things started turning around.
Somewhere or other --I think around here-- I heard tell of the NVS (anti-vibration system) giving problems as well, and pitot-static systems experiencing icing problems. I have no idea what the extent of the problems was, with any of that. And/or what kind of fixes have been implemented for it.

I wish we would see more of the Dash-8's here in the states. Unfortunatly the trend is to steer away from the turbos and head right for jets. The only time that is ever get to see the DH8's is when i am non-reving on US through PIT and even there they are almost hard to come-by. A few times they have shown up at DCA but till i think that the DH8 is a good plane and hope the Q400 does well in the markets it serves.

Dash8king, you are correct. I'm not sure if Deluce himself was from C3, but someobody high up in the food chain at Regco is supposedly from C3. Seems to me that every recent startup except Jetsgo is run by ex-C3 people!
I too hope the problems that have been plaguing the Q have been rectified.

What routes are they going to be put on? Just Montreal and Ottawa or are they thinking about going transborder? By the way WMUPilot there are Q400's out of Seattle and Portland. I know this beacuse Calgary gets one or two daily from Seattle.

The Deluce family did infact start Canada 3 but got out before things got ugly...They are also the family behind Air Ontario...Mr Deluce knows what hes doing when it comes to the airline biz and I think he will do a great job, if those tree hugging, park loving, socialist, communist freeks dont get their way...the upcomming mayoral race could have some impact on regco's plans...
