Indonesian airlines leased a B747-300 and a B747SR for their international expansion. These aircrafts were used for the Hadj operation this year however from what I hear, now they are just sitting around at Jakarta airport.
Recently according to the airline website http://www.indonesian-airlines.co.id
indonesian airlines has started a direct service from Jakarta to Dubai. This makes it the only airline connecting the two cities with a direct flight. This flight is probably being operated by the B747-300, as the B747SR would not be able to make this journey with a full load. Therefore the future of the 747SR which is leased from logistic air http://www.logisticair.com is still uncertain.

The 747-300 has had it's titles removed and is sitting around Jakarta, so not sure of it's future. Indonesian Airlines was a promising carrier in Indonesia, but when I heard they were getting 747s, my opinion was that they were finished. Maybe I am right.

Indonesian Airlines did report that they wish to fly their B747s to SIN and Amsterdam . . . what has become of these plans?
I saw their B727-200 (PK-IAF) operating into Bali Ngurah Rai Airport in the basic livery of Delta Airlines . . . seem to carry a healthy load. The folks who tumbled out of the plane nicely filled up 5 buses! The outbound flight too was well stocked with a new load of passengers and the B727 rotated somewhat later than other users at this airport.

knowing Indonesia, and Indonesian Airline's news announcement in the past, I am not surprised if...
Poster states 1st flight is 24th April
News says it'll be on 1 May
The first flight ends up in October and not using the 747 !
