While ATA might be able to generate a operating profit, the company does have a high debt burden with some very large payments due in 2003. The ability to get relief, or reschedule some of this debt is a large factors in the companies future.

What you people don't realize is that most of the loses come from writing off older equipment. When you dig deep down in the books, they are not hurting what so ever. Of course the only people that know that are those whom have seen the company books opened up completely - namely union reps. Hint.
