Are BA flying into Tashkent throught their franchise partner British Mediterranean? whats the routing frequency and equipment?

Yes they do, through the BA franchise, British Mediterranean using A321.

You can find TAS on their destinations list but you can't book it through BA's site. Strange... It is listed on Amadeus though.
Wouldn't this route be a moneyloser for BA? Uzbekistan is flying the route 3 times a week nonstop on 767 while BA has a 2 hrs stopover in Yerevan and to top it they fly on Fridays and Sundays when HY offers their nonstops.

Just look at 'availability' and see which carrier has less seats open for sale!

Probably BA have a lot of connecting passengers on these flights, and I guess a lot of people would prefer to travel with BA- as it is a familiar name.

It is the same witha lot of BMed's flights. Damascus operates via Beirut, but Syrian have direct flights.
