I beleive I read somewhere that MIA has the most number of Int'l airlines opperating to/from. First, is this the case? Second, I would assume that LHR or JKF would be close on that list. Would anyone have any ideas on this? I realize that one need only to look at the list of top 10 airports worldwide to get a fairly good guess, however, I would appreciate any info or otherwise.

I have no such information but I would say LHR, JFK, FRA, CDG, LAX, ORD & BKK are among the airports that get an extremely wide variety of airlines. MIA too but perhaps not as many as the above mentioned airports (as far as I know, there are no Asian operators at MIA).

If you have no such information why would you discount MIA? Also, there are no Central or South American or Caribbean airlines serving BKK so why would they make your list?

Hkg82 don't rule out MIA, every carribbean and Latin American airline you can think of serves there, not to mention every little cargo company. I would believe its MIA. LHR has to be close, your on and island with only a few airlines of its own. And we all know every airline that can serve LHR, does! I have to say from being at MIA, its got my vote though. ASSFO

FRA gets european, south-american, north-american, asian, east-block, african, australian (+New Zealand) and arabian traffic so I guess they lead this list as I don't think LHR gets as much east-block traffic and this in London are spread to three airports.
