I'm being offered overpriced tickets from BTV-LGA on US. If someone can help me, this is what I would like to fly
BTV-LGA leaving at 105P arriving LGA 235P
LGA-BTV leaving at 435P arriving BTV 605P
-Transaero Boeing 737-200
I am a little flexible on the outbound, I might take the 1125A connection via PHL if it is cheaper.

Can you fly into JFK instead of LGA? B6 may have better fares.

I would suggest B6 on this trip...I have found that unless flying BOS-LGA on the Shuttles, flights to NYC from New England are extremely overpriced. I know that BOS-EWR often costs around $300, and I see MHT-EWR at $500 frequently and MHT-LGA at around $700...

Try YUL or Lebonon, NH, but I doubt either will be much better though.

It is called yeild management. You waited too long and the cheap fares are already sold. You could leave a couple hours earlier out of LGA and manage to find a cheap seat left ($172 rt vs. $303 rt). Essentially you are booking the flight at the last minute...had you booked earlier the cheap seats would still be open. These are also Dash 8s you are flying...the cheaper seats probably account for maybe 10 seats on that plane. So if you really want to fly these flights without any flexibility, suck it up...or fly another airline that still has plenty of cheap seats open (JetBlue).

Or take the risk of not being able to fly at all and book the day before departure. If there's any seats left then they'll go cheap too...
