Does anybody know, when we will see the next Gulf AC with the new beautiful colors ??

I just noticed they have used to shades of Gold, the Falcon logo on the tail is in a lighter colour, I think they should have stuck to that on the fuselage too and not opted for the darker Gold, also Red would have made more sense for the livery as its present in the flags of all three member states of the Gulf Air consortium, as itis there are too many Blue/Gold combo liverys already.

I really like this new livery and it will be good to see more photos on here in the future, especially a close up one of the tail. I liked the previous livery, but this one definitely outshines it IMO. Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Athenian21, Gf are planning to phase out the 763 and A340 fleet.

Apparently the 763s are being transferred to a brand new, all-economy subsidiary airline of GF that's supposed to start up in June...So they will be repainted--but in a totally different scheme!

EastCoast, Yes you are correct. All will be revealed at the Arabian Travel Market Exhibition commencing 6-8th May ??.

Details of GF's new low cost carrier will be revealed. Including the new brand and livery for the Boeing 767 fleet which will be used for the new airline.

I think Gulf Air's new livery is easily one of the nicest in the history of airlines. Quite possibly the best livery makeover in history.

Just a thought, but maybe the gold looks darker on the fuselage because there is so much of it there. If you have a lot of white around a colour, it makes it look lighter, but if it's there in one big slab, it looks a lot darker. I think there's some artistic name for this, but I can't remember it.
