I've just booked a flight itinerary for July with WestJet. I have booked to fly YEG-YYC on July 4/03 on WS33 to arrive at 7:43 am, so I can spend a day in Calgary then fly out to YVR later on the same day on an evening flight on WS562 at 8:30 pm. The return flight will be on July 20 on WS580 leaving at 2:05 pm nonstop to YEG.
Now here's the question. Is WestJet still doing the practice of using flight number in the 500s and 600s with 737-700 flights while the older 732s are flown on other flight numbers? If so, then I should have no problem getting on a 73G flight - which I have never done before and have always wanted to.

If WS still has 2## numbered flights, they also use 700 planes as well.
Back when I flew back to YYC from YVR, I flew on WS205..
That time the plane I was on was only 2 months old so it stil had the fresh smell..
