Yes, I took this photo from the same spot. Parking 6 (F). By the way, there are some more in the queue. Stay tuned!

And thanks for open a topic.  Smile

Hi Robin,

You're right, I'm shooting digital. I have never managed to get proper scans from my negatives, so I switched to digital photography.

The pictures were taken with a D60 and a 75-300 mm lens (plus the x1.6 crop factor of the camera). Most pictures were not taken with full zoom, for side-views of widebodies, a 100-150 mm zoom would be o.k.

By the way, all photos have been taken between 7:00 and 9:00 in the early morning. Light is not perfect them, the planes are almost flying out of the sun when approaching runway 28, but despite that, I think the results came out pretty nice.

I don't know how long they are landing on 28 on a weekday, perhaps until 8.00? At weekends, no landings are allowed from the north until 9.00 thanks to the German regulations.

Perhaps Unique can shed some light on this?

...I forgot to ad: landings on runway 28 only if the visibility is more than 4500 metres! If it's lower, I guess you don't want to take pics... Big grin
