Ok, sorry for another post so quickly...

I searched Delta.com and had no luck, can somebody give me a run down of which international destinations Delta serves and from where? (including Canada, Mexico, Carribean) On Delta & Delta connection metal only!

Thanks

jbmitt

Delta serves more than 423 destinations in 77 countries.... and I hardly think anyone here is going to waste their time spelling the international ones out for you when you can just download the destination timetables right here on Delta.com.

From those maps, I'll tell you all I know. Keep in mind that only the full blue triangles, blue outlined with white inside, and blue and red triangles are served with DL or DL connection aircraft. I believe all Mexican destinations are served from ATL and ATL only. All Central American destinations are only served from ATL. All Carribean destinations are served from ATL, but a few may be served from CVG. All European destinations except ATH, IST, NCE, and VCE are served from ATL. Those four, along with LGW, CDG, MAD, BCN, MXP, FCO, and maybe FRA are served from JFK. CVG serves FRA, LGW, and CDG. All South American destinations are served only from ATL. BOM is a continuation of the CDG service from JFK. All South American destinations are served only from ATL. NRT is served once daily from ATL only. I'm sorry, but I can't shed much light on Canada except that YUL and YYZ are definately served from ATL, and YYC and YVR are only served from SLC.

Regards,
Airplanetire

In Canada, Calgary is served only from SLC; YVR is served from SLC year-round, Atlanta during the summer; YYZ is served from CVG, JFK, and ATL; YUL is served from ATL, CVG, and LGA; YOW from ATL; YHZ is served from BOS. Also, YFC service to BOS should be up this fall.

In Mexico; MEX is served from JFK, LAX, and ATL; GDL from ATL and I think LAX; San Jose del Cabo from ATL; Leon from ATL; Cancun from ATL and CVG.

All Caribbean destinations are served from ATL. In addition, NAS is served from CVG and AUA from JFK.

Central and South America are ATL exclusive.

In Europe, VCE, SVO, IST, ATH, and NCE are exclusive to JFK. MAN, SNN, DUB, LGW, MUC, ZRH, and STG are exclusive to ATL. The rest (CDG, AMS, MAD, BCN, MXP, FCO) are shared between the two. CVG has CDG, LGW, and FRA.

In Asia, BOM is from CDG and NRT is from ATL.

Hello Everyone,
It seems that Leon/El Bajio doesn't have any Delta operated flights from Atlanta or from any other US cities. They do have codeshare flights via Aerolitoral/Aeromexico. I believed Delta discontinued their own flights from Atlanta for quite some time now.
Delta does serve GDL from LAX as flight 479.
Hopefully some day Delta will serve more international flights using their own equipment from LAX like they use to do back in the 90s.

I can't believe that. Delta already pulled out Lyon, France! When it happened?

Lyon, France was cut 1 September, 2001. It was to be replaced by Boston-Paris, but Boston-Paris never surfaced.

Also, off my list, I did forget Monterrey, Mexico, served daily from Atlanta. As well, it does indeed seem as if Atlanta-Leon has been discontinued. Odd, when did it happen? It must have been within the last year.

Also, thanks for the correction FLAIRPORT, Delta does indeed serve Nassau from Orlando as well.

Also, I forgot Hamilton, Bermuda, served from Atlanta and Boston.

I totally left SVO off of my list of cities served from JFK and not ATL.

Thanks guys for the help, I looked at Delta.com (i swear) I searched for route maps and didn´t get the stuff.

Delta at one time had a hub in FRA, and they gave it up in favor of codesharing. Would Delta ever consider opening another european hub, say in Warsaw, Poland? With many eastern european countries joining the EU, I could see there being an increased travel and tourist market. Í have no idea about Warsaw, but its just an idea and seems to be relatively centrally located for parts of western europe and most of eastern and northern europe.

just and idea, what to you think?

Since Nassau came up, it's an interesting point that during the days of the DFW hub Delta flew nonstop from DFW to Nassau.

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

Small additions: NAS is also served from LGA...FRA is common to all three (JFK,ATL,CVG), and BRU is also served from both JFK and ATL.

Too expensive to open a new separate hub from scratch (they will probably just rely on CSA for the PRG connections to handle the increased Eastern European travel). You may see them starting their own JFK-PRG or ATL-PRG if things pick up and/or PRG becomes a bigger connecting point (right now, with CSA's limited size, the number of connections available out of PRG are not huge)
