SSV Interior Question

I was wondering which SSV A320/19's have leather interior. I was talking to a friend yesterday and he said that the aircraft he was on in late january, early february was new with SSV and had leather?

Rootsgirl? I am sure that you know, he also said that they had to land in MCO before going on to St. Petes? AND since they didn't pre clear customs, they had to all deboard and then reboard for their final leg?

Hey there,
Three of our 319's in the horrid conquest colours have leather. C-GTDT, TDX and TDS. C-GJUK is still in the Canada 3000 colours inside, along with all the other JU series aircraft. The Skyservice / Air 2000 colours this winter had the Air 2000 interiors. and the rest of the fleet is a mis matched from dark blue to light blues.

Oh and in regards to your question about the stop in MCO the on to PIE yes all passengers entering Florida I think have to do that. So unfortunatly with our flights in and out of florida we have to post clear US customs once we get there. This normally means a bit of a delay. but the last couple of flights there have been really quick, getting home around 45 minutes early.

Acually TDS is the only one with leather seats I was just on TDX yesterday and on TDT last week and the seats are still fabric.

If your friend flew in January/February he could also have been on one of the aircraft leased from air2000, C-GTDG and DH which also have leather seats...

The giveaway would be the colour of the interior. air2000's seats are green leather, I would assume Skyservice's seats would be blue?

Flew on TDS Apr 28 YQM-PUJ-VRA and on May 5 VRA-YQM. Nice leather seats. Great service. Early departures and early arrivals (by one hour on the return). Kudos to SSV!

Next flights: YHZ-HOG / HOG-YHZ / YQM-YUL-YQB / YQB-YOW-YUL-YQM / YQM-YYZ-YVR-YYJ / SEA-YYZ-YQM

I don't recall those Air 2000 planes having leather. I recall them haveing the multi colour patterns on the seats. I spent alot of time on those aircraft this winter. TDG and TDH. TDS and TDT do have the leather, TDX I am sorry doesn't. My mistake Smile

C-GTDG and DH have leather seats now, I'd assumed they were refurbished in line with the corporate branding before going off on winter lease to Skyservice. The interior you describe does sound like the old one, it souns like they were rebranded on their return to the UK.

I know B757 G-OOOZ did had leather seats during it's time with Skyservice this winter (forgot about that one!) as did G-OOBB based in Detroit for Apple Vacations. The leather seats need a lot of TLC to keep them in top condition, especially when they're such a light colour - not easy when the aircraft is based 4000 miles from home!
