There is workers strike this day .. or that is what I herd this morning with one ear while udner the shower
Anyway, the workers alliances organized some strikes, so tehre is no ground service and the flights was rerouted.

I was watching tv earlier today and they showed some cool pictures from CGN.
For those that know where UPS and DHL always have their planes parked that space was used for all the planes that came in from DUS. I saw a few A330's and A320's of LTU parked there. It seemed that CGN didn't know where to put all the planes that came in.
Well they should get used to it if they grow at the rate they do now...

Lots of flights were diverted to CGN,MST and FMO. Lufthansa cancelled all flights between 6am am 4pm. The airport installed a shuttle service which carries all pax the the other airports.
-> Quite funny: CGN closed one runway for parking positions.
Not all flights were cancelled! Some operated the service (when they were not handeled by Flughafen Düsseldorf Gesellschaft / Airport service of Duesseldorf). These were on strike today...
