For any interested PHL spotters...AF will be operating a 777 instead of 763 on Thursday 22 May. A/C F-GSPO will be arriving 1255 and departing 1800.

Cool...I am getting out of school early too, so maybe i will be able to see it. Any specific reason for the equipment change. Doesn't the flight switch to a 330 pretty soon.

My guess is that the AF 763 that normally operates PHL, F-GHGI, is in for maintenance, at present its AF's only 763 and used strictly for PHL...if its not available then its guaranteed PHL will be seeing another aircraft type in its place...

No info on the reason for the change. Presumably maintenance-related for the 767. And yes, A330 service begins on 02 June.

What happened to all the old 76's?

I remember seeing F-GHGG in PHL back in February.

They have all been taken out of service over the past few months save -GHGI ...I would assume that once the A330 service begins in June -GHGI is history as well...
