I hear that SFO recently bought goats... you read this right goats to mow down the tall brush and grass near the airport in marshy/swampy terrain where conventional mowers cannot get without being bogged down. Does anybody know how many goats were bought?

Thanks Much,
DC-9-32

They would need a huge fleet of goats to mow all that marshy grass. How much of it does SFO have?
Sounds cool Big grin

According to the SFO press release in 2001, 250 goats are hired from Goats R Us (that's really the company's name) and lets them loose for about 12 days, with shepards keeping an eye on them. You need Acrobat Reader to open the press release.

Well I guess that the grass seems to be a problem once again, and well.. Goats R Us must have dispatched another 250 goats to mow down the grass. Imagine how many tractor-trailers were needed to transport the goats to the site and then back again to their barn! Whoa!
