A check card pretty much is just a credit card that is charged directly to your checking account. It works the same, accepted the same, and considered the same pretty much for everything that you would need to use it for.

There is really no distinction between a regular VISA or MasterCard and your Visa or MasterCard ATM/Check card when it comes to making purchases. The only exception would be point of sale purchases like at a grocery store or gas pump where you would need to enter your PIN.
