Tomorrow, Qantas Flight 6024 will land in Honolulu at 5:40 pm. The flight, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the first trans-Pacific flight in 1928, will be on Quantas' newest B737 featuring a "commemorative logo." I'm not sure if it's a special paint scheme or just something added to the usual.
Just posting this in case someone else might want to try and catch it coming in.
There's also an inside-the-airport program for media starting at 5:15 pm at the Qantas Ticket Counter, Second Level Lobby 4, ending with a lei greeting at Gate 26. For more information on that, contact Duane Kimmage of Qantas Airways in Honolulu, (808) 226-9238.

We have a new law in Australia. Anyone who spells Qantas with a U is liable to be punished severely. Last I heard the punishment was being locked in a small room with 6 senior QF CityFlyer flight attendants for 9 hours.

Believe me, a lot more people can tell you horror stories about "quick and nasty Singapore service"! The so-called world's #1 airline has gone down the drain recently for reasons not worth speculating. Morale, perhaps?
One good example is SQ772's recent trip to Dubai. However, there are still some sporadic excellent flights.
Really over rated. Blah!
