Hi Airmale,
interesting to know that NH flew to RGN!!! i was there many times and never knew that they do operate there. Are you sure? (was it an NH flight or a C/S FLight)
Anyhow it makes more sense to conect with their Star Partner TG via BKK. TG offeres two A300-600 daily flights with a very good seat load factor.

Did ANA ever fly to DEL???

I always thought the bilateral awarded DEL flights to JAL and BOM flights to ANA.

I think ANA used to fly NRT-BKK-DEL with their 777-200s - though I'm not too sure when they discontinued the BKK-DEL leg. I do remember seeing RGN flight as a weekly extension of their KIX-BKK flights, alternating with the extension to KUL on the 767.

ANA did fly to both Delhi and Bombay. I was on an ANA flight to Bangkok once that continued to Delhi. I think India was canned post 9-11.

On a slightly different note, what are AI's loads like on its flights to and from both NRT and KIX?

And what about Moscow? I could've sworn they flew there as well.

An unrelated question.
A non-stop flight from Delhi to NRT, does it go directly over the himalaya mountains? I heard that all flights avoid the himalayas and go around it. Is that true?

ANA was flying into Yangon with the Boeing 767-381ER sometime around end-1996 and through an interline agreement with Air Mandalay, her passengers could even be ticketed beyond Yangon to Mandalay, Heho, Bagan and Thandwe on ANA's document.

ANA's B777 flights through BKK to DEL probably ended sometime around end-2001 or early-2002.

If my memory is correct, ANAs DEL flight was from OSA and the BOM flight from NRT.

So which other airlines fly to Myanmar, PIA is one that quit the country too, they were flying into Yangon nonstop from Karachi with an A300 in 96-97.
