JMC Not Operating At NCL This Summer?

I found a list of charter airlines flying in and out of Newcastle - Woolsington (NCL) this summer, and noticed that JMC Air weren't listed. Have they seized their flights to NCL?

I know they had 757s and a heavy airbus last year, so it seems odd if they suddenly left...

Clue: They no longer exist, under that name....

You're looking for TCX flight codes, and they continue to have a strong presence @ NCL this Summer.

Ah, just proves how well informed I am on aviation news, doesn't it?  Smile

Yeah I noticed Thomas Cook on the timetables. Did they keep the regs btw?

A 757 is based, with an A330 doing one of the Sanford flights ( the other being a Monarch A330). Also some 'w' flights using 320 or 757 a.c.

Supposedly a second a/c is to be based at NCL next summer, probably an A320.

Say GKirk, I found a list of charter flights in and out of NCL, but only departures are listed, so now I'm having a heavy discussion with someone at the airport via mail. Do you know what time the charter flights arrive at NCL on saturdays? Big grin

Btw, are you sure saturdays are the busiest? Because a quick look on the list of scheduled flights made monday or tuesday look busier...

Ok, I'll take your for it.  Smile

Still struggeling to find out what time of the day charter flights arrive on saturdays. NCL custumor services not very helpful on that subject.  Sad

The saturday before I leave, I'll check the "live arrivals" list on NCL's website. But are the charter flights arriving on that saturday bound to arrive at the same time the following saturdays?  Confused

Thomas, you can find a list of all Newcastle charter flights on the NCL website, at http://www.newcastle-airport.co.uk . You need Acrobat Reader though.

I know, I've had a look at it, but it only displays the departure time from NCL, and not arrival.

Hopeless.  Smile

Yup, and according to some of the times, the expected return is actually BEFORE the departure. Big grin ----> Arrival dates are for friday or even thursday. Doesn't help me much.  Sad

Oh well I give up, nevermind. I'll just have to show up some day and see what goes past me on the approach.  Smile

Do charter airlines fly the same scheduled routes in and out of NCL though? (Example: Britannia arrives from Mahon at 17:00 on the saturday. Would it arrive 17:00 at NCL the next saturday aswell?)

Yup, between May and October usually, although some charter flights operate for a shorter period.
