A318 Already Delivered?

Are there any Airbus 318 already delivered?
If not, what is the date of its first delivery and who are signed customers to this small plane.

A second question, what is more efficient? To operate a 70pax CRJ or a 100pax A318... I know some will say that when you need a 100-seat airliner there is nothing to compete with A318... But, wouldn't it be more sensible to use a slightly smaller plane with larger savings? (that is, I am assuming CRJ is quite cheaper to mantain and fly).

Frontier has an A318 painted, not exactly sure if it was delivered yet, but soon!

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

N801FR - Frontier's first A318, the first to enter commercial service - makes an appearance at the Paris Air Show.

Then it comes over here to be fitted with DirectTV and get it's certificate from the FAA.

It is scheduled to go into service around July 20.

cheers

No, there is no A318 delivered yet. As mentioned by Mariner it think the first A318 will be delivered to Frontier after Paris Air Show.

Greetings
