They should leave the silver underside, looks very slick!

For those of you who don't know, the a/c in question is under the "Schiphol page one" section.

Hey everybody,

Thanks for the replies. I was very lucky to see that KLM 744 with the silver belly. At first, I didn't notice the silver belly, until it came closer. When it arrived back at Schiphol I already was home, so I only saw it arrive from a distance.

You can more of my aircraft photo's on this website and on planepictures.net as well. Just look my photo's up their. I have some nice taken from the ATC Tower at Curacao  Wink/being sarcastic

I think the new KLM livery has over done it with the logo, they're on the fuselage, the engines, the tail and the winglets, awful, I hope they drop some, preferably from the engines and winglets, and also the 'CARGO' ltitle from the tails of their freighters.

Great to see 'City of Karachi' named after my home town, in the new livery.

What good is a logo when you can't see it from every angle?

btw, on the cargo aircraft there's one more. Right under the nose  Smile

PW100, you said "lazy me" for not including the clickable link in your original post. So that means you are one and the same person as A388?

The person under the nickname PW100 is another member. And Schreiner, that sounds like a good idea  Wink/being sarcastic Are you going to the NLC (Netherlands Aviation School) in Hoofddorp? Just e-mail me, my e-mail is on my website.

Multiple logo's look really cheap, I'd imagine some airline from Asia or Africa doing that but definitely not a major established airline like KLM, I mean if you go to see not even the Asian's or Africans do that, compare KL's multiple logo look to the clean image of Air France or British Airways, NWA, Continental, Air Canada, dont people know about KLM, that they have to slap on so many logos?

So why did PW100 say "lazy me" for not including the clickable link in his original post under the pseudonym "A388"? You are the same individual, with more than one identity. There can be no other explanation.

Dual identities, and identities with false profiles, are everywhere on Airliners.net. You're not the only one. But that doesn't make it right. Denying it at this stage after making that slip up only damages the credibility of both identities. Why deny the obvious when honesty is the best policy? You should cancel the PW100 identity and go just with your real identity. Or create a new false identity and be more careful in the future.

I don't know why you act like this, but I'm not going to say anything about this anymore. As I said before PW100 is not me, but for some reason you don't believe me. Oh well, can't help you out any more than I did. I agree with you about the multiple identities, but I'm not like that. You're the one who is making a big issue about something that's not related to me in any way.

Nice livery....i have always loved KLM's rich colors but yeah too bad KLM doesnt fly to Karachi anymore even though one of their B744 is named after KHI....infact i have seen this plane at AMS airport and if i recall correctly it was in 1994 or 1995. I think KLM 747-300 are named after rivers of the world and one of them is named "Indus" which is again in Pakistan

@Hmmmm...
For the record, I'm NOT A388. In fact, if you check my profile, you'll notice that I have nothing to hide, and have my full name out there.

@A388
Sorry for the inconvenience I apparently caused to you. Maybe some day we'll meet around AMS, I'll buy you a beer!

Just two words . . . and so much uproar. It's quite humorous to read this all. Maybe those two words were not the best choice. I only wanted to show that I usually would like to have a hot link to a website, which fellow member A388 did not do in his first post. Please accept my apologies for the poor choice of words here [and please consider that English is NOT my native language . . . ].

You're absolutely right, this forum has had [and probably still has] it fair share of multiple/split personalities. However if you check my other posts, it must be evident to your all that I'm not here on this forum to bash/flame any fellow member / company / institution. So there is no reason why I should hide under any pseudonym.

Hope this clears things up a bit . . .

Kind Regards,
Harm Rutten [AKA PW100].

I suppose PW100 -beeing a lazy person- put the link here for the others to go there directly.

At least I understood it that way, until you mentioned a possible connection between the two.

I believe A388. (BTW, I am not A388 nor PW100, case you think this a case of triple identity  Smile/happy/getting dizzy )

Thanks for clearing it up PW100 and thanks for the comments SwissA330. I didn't know why the other member (Hmmmm) was acting like that. I agree with the multiple identity story, but that's not my nature. And PW100 if I go to Schiphol I'll let you know. We'll drink a beer  Wink/being sarcastic
