Yeah I have a tip. You should have a nice long talk with the prick of a Mayor Chicago has. In all seriousness, don't bother trying to spot at MDW. They have and/or are installing concrete walls around the entire airport. I wouldn't bring any money into the city of Chicago. Save it and go somewhere aviation friendly. Good luck.

If you want a spotter friendly airport drive about 90 miles north to MKE. They have a parking lot you pull into and also have a freq. on your a.m. radio station in which you can tune to the tower. Its a fairly busy airport and you get the commercial and the military c-130s and kc-130s on landing. It may take awhile to get there but in my opinion its worth it. By the way the mayor that UALbagsmasher is also the mayor that tore up Meigs Field a few months back. So like he said, avoid Chicago like the plague.

Yeah, MKE is very spotter friendly. FYI, the station you tune in on your car radio for ATC is 88.5 F.M.

I too would have to say that the drive to MKE would be well worth it since the Devil is running Chicago MDW and ORD will be as unfriendly as you can get. Not to mention you will see nearly the same A/C that you would see at MDW. ATA has an almost daily Funjet charter from MKE - LAS so your bound to see a 738 flying out..not to mention 8 Chicago Express daily flights from MKE to MDW.
