According to http://www.seatexpert.com seats 39HJK on both of BA's 744 configurations have no windows. As a bulkhead seat, I'm also surprised that it is designated a "bad seat", even though the comments say it's got lots of legroom. Anyone wishes to clarify??? I'm flying BA soon and would want to sit in this row. This recent cabin photo does show that it's got a window, and what looks to me like a very desirable location:

Not that I'm an expert by any means on this subject, but don't they seat a lot of mothers/babies in these bulkhead seats?

Not only does it have a window, the legroom is awesome, DO NOT refuse bulkhead seats. I've sat in the same seats on BA 744's, it was the most comfortable economy class flight by a long mile.

OK, so I called BA to ask for this specific row but it's only available for assignment at the airport. It's always the case with most, if not all airlines, but I've never had a problem scoring bulkhead or exit row seats as long as I check in during the published opening time for the counters (4 hours before dep. for BA). That's amazing for someone without status on most international carriers. Anyway, I'm not too worried as YVR-LHR doesn't have many status pax (lots of backpackers and Brits on Alaska cruise holidays), unlike AC, so I don't think I should have a problem scoring row 39HJK, or 40ABC, or any seat on row 28.
