I have just received an email saying that now you can earn OnePass miles through Delta flights. Is this the start of the CO/DL/NW --> SkyTeam alliance?

I wonder what affect, if any, this will have on Delta and United's frequent flyer agreement for domestic travel?

Here is my question....

Will I be able to use my Medallion status from Delta to upgrade on a Continental or Northwest flight? I ask because DL makes it nearly impossible to upgrade, while OnePass is much easier.

That should answer your question.

With this news now out on the table, I would expect that the first part of the codeshare would go into operation come August or September.

Wow! This is exciting! I have a question. With Delta, I have a little bit over 26,000 miles. On Continental, I have a little bit over 5,000. Would there be a way now to move those OnePass miles to Delta's FF program?

Only from a domestic standpoint. CO has by far the absolute worst intercontinental upgrade policy of any N. American airline!

No
